"My life has never been the same since meeting the remarkable people at Hearing Loss Association of Oregon. They really know what I am going through, because they go through it too. Each of us has the opportunity to reach out to one another, to be a friend, to educate and support each other." Bonne Bandolas We believe in education - for those who hear well and for those who cannot - so that both may understand the causes, challenges and possible remedies for hearing loss. We encourage you to bring your family and friends. At our meetings you'll find a comfortable place where hearing loss is accepted and not a problem. Please come...meet new friends who, perhaps like yourself, are learning what they can do about their hearing loss. Or talk with some of the "old hands" who will be glad to share what they have learned about dealing with the challenges of hearing loss. You'll be glad you did. We all suffer from frustration and stress due to our hearing loss. At times we all want to just give up. But don't! Reach out and ask for help with the problems. You are not alone! We have all been there. And we can learn from one another and help ourselves at the same time
