This month's meeting presentation will be by Dr. Lisa Koslicki, PT, DPT, who is a physical therapist with special training in vestibular balance therapy.
Dr. Koslicki's presentation will focus on hearing loss and balance (including anatomy), general balance assessment (including types of testing), and general balance interventions (with exercises and audience participation).
Koslicki earned her doctorate of physical therapy at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon, and has worked primarily in outpatient physical therapy clinics, also serving in skilled nursing and hospital facilities.
Dr. Koslicki loves the structure, function, and treatment of the vestibular system, especially as vestibular therapy is so impactful on the lives of those with balance issues affected by it! Her goal is to help as many people as she can to improve their balance so they can live life to its fullest.
